In this checkup, if we find out that there may be cancer at any place, then we take that piece and send it for biopsy.

Causes of cervical cancer

Dr. Garima Sahni also explains its causes. She says that the most common cause of cervical cancer is 'Human Papilloma Virus'. Usually, the virus related to this cancer enters the woman during sex. Especially women who have more than one sexual partner are more likely to get cervical cancer. Along with this, sometimes this type of cancer is also seen in older women.
