She was uncomfortable before signing this film. Chunky Pandey told that she came to him to ask whether she should do this film or not. Ananya felt that she was too young to do this film.

Chunky Pandey further said that he thought Liger would be a big budget commercial masala film, but now he feels that his daughter was right. Ananya was very young for the film Liger. The actor told that on his insistence, Ananya Pandey signed the film which proved to be a failure at the box office.
