This 18-year-old fan Rituparno Pakhira came on the pitch during Kohli was batting during the second innings. Rituparno reached Kohli and touched his feet and also hugged him. After which the security personnel present on the field caught him and took him out.

Rituparno told the Times of India what Virat Kohli had said when this incident happened.

Rituparno said, “When I touched his feet, Virat Kohli sir asked my name and said ‘run away quickly’. He also told the security not to beat me.”

Let us tell you that after this incident, the police arrested Rituparno and charged him under Section 132 (assaulting or using criminal force on a public servant), 329 (3) (criminal encroachment) and 125 (negligent act endangering human life or personal safety) of the Indian Penal Code.

Kohli played an important role in RCB's victory by performing brilliantly in this match. Kohli played a brilliant innings of 59 not out in 36 balls. In this match, he shared a 95-run partnership for the first wicket with fellow opener Philip Salt.
