Will banks be closed for four days in Delhi?
If you live in Delhi, there's some relief for you. Delhi isn't included in this week's holiday. Bank branches across the country, including Delhi, will remain closed on November 1st, as it's a Sunday.
How will transactions be conducted when banks are closed?
Bank branches closing doesn't stop money transactions. Even on holidays, customers can use digital banking services. They can make payments through apps like Google Pay and PhonePe, and they can use mobile and internet banking.
You can also withdraw cash. You just need to wait for the bank to reopen for branch work like check clearance and passbook updates.
