How to block spam calls on Samsung Galaxy smartphones?

Samsung phones have call blocking built in:

  • Open the Phone app
  • Tap on the three dots at the top right
  • Select the option "Block numbers"
  • Turn on "Block calls from unknown numbers"
  • Also activate "Block spam and scam calls"
  • If you want, you can also block a number manually

How to block spam calls on OnePlus smartphones

Most OnePlus devices now come with Google's Dialer app preinstalled:

If you still receive spam calls despite these settings, use government tools:

  • Activate DND (Do Not Disturb) service
  • Send SMS to 1909 from your mobile: START 0
  • Download TRAI DND App
  • Download from Google Play Store
  • Register your mobile number
  • Turn on call-blocking options
