Coming from a farming family, Anju Yadav overcame every challenge in life to fulfill her dream of becoming a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Rajasthan Police. Her story is an example of courage and hard work.

Once an innocent child playing on the edge of a field, then a young woman juggling kitchen duties and responsibilities, and today, a DSP in the gleaming Rajasthan Police uniform… This is the story of Anju Yadav, who turned every challenge in life into a stepping stone with her courage and hard work. Anju proved that with courage, no obstacle is too great.
Born in 1988 in Dhauleda, a small village in Haryana's Narnaul district, Anju Yadav comes from a farming family. Her father, Lalaram, supported the family through farming and a grocery store, while her mother managed the household. Raising four daughters presented challenges, but her parents never considered them inferior to their sons. This upbringing made Anju self-reliant and strong. Today, these same daughters have become DSPs in the Rajasthan Police Service, becoming an inspiration to their village and society.
Responsibilities in youth and the challenge of motherhood:
Marrying at 21 and becoming a mother at 24, Anju's life was filled with responsibilities. Lacking support from her husband's family, she returned to her parents' home to raise her son, Mukuldeep. This was a time when many people often abandoned their dreams, but instead of giving up, Anju was determined to prove herself.
Anju's hard work began at a government school.
After completing her 12th grade at the village government school, Anju graduated through distance learning. Without the support of expensive coaching or a prestigious school, she had only courage and dedication. She began her career as a teacher and, through her hard work, secured three government teaching positions.
In 2016, Anju began teaching at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh. She later taught at government schools in Rajasthan and Delhi. During her nearly five years of employment in Delhi, she juggled both her son's upbringing and her children's education.
In 2021,
Her husband, Nityanand, passed away due to illness. This was a very difficult time for Anju, left alone with her son and growing responsibilities. But this grief didn't weaken her; instead, she turned it into her strength. That same year, she applied for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam and continued to work hard.
After persistent effort
and dedication, the results came in 2023. Anju secured the 1725th rank under the widow quota. This was the result of her hard work and courage, which demonstrated that no matter the circumstances, if one strives sincerely, success is certain.
Anju became a DSP in September 2025.
After hard work, struggle, and overcoming countless challenges, Anju Yadav finally took the oath as DSP in the Rajasthan Police Service in September 2025. By wearing the uniform, she proved that true victory is achieved by overcoming adversity. Today, Anju is not only an inspiration to her son but also an example for every woman who wants to fulfill her dreams, even amidst difficulties.
