You can easily make it at home and store it for a long time. So, today we will tell you how to make tasty sugar-free amla candy at home.
Easy recipe to make Amla candy
1. To make Amla candy, first wash all the Amla thoroughly with water so that the dirt and dust present in them gets cleaned.
2. Cook them in a steamer or pressure cooker for 5 to 6 minutes, until the amla is soft. Once cooked, the amla pits will separate easily.
3. After this, remove the ripe amla and place it in a bowl. Add jaggery powder, black salt, and chaat masala and mix well. Cover and set aside for a day. Stir occasionally with a spoon.
4. The next day, the gooseberry water will come out. Separate it using a strainer.
5. Spread the gooseberries on butter paper and cook them in the air fryer. Once cooked and cooled, coat them with jaggery powder.
6. The prepared Amla candy can be stored in an airtight jar for a long time.
7. You can use jaggery instead of sugar. It is completely healthy and sugar-free.
8. If stored in an airtight jar, it stays fresh for 2-3 months. Eating one to two candies daily is very beneficial for health. It provides energy, improves digestion, and boosts immunity.
