After the massive collection of this film, the lead hero and director of the film Rishabh Shetty is working fast on the second part of the film. Meanwhile, there are reports that this film has got embroiled in a controversy during the shooting. If reports are to be believed, the makers of the film are accused of damaging the forests during the shooting.

Allegations of damage to forests and animals

The shooting of 'Kantara Chapter 1' is going on in Gavigudda, Karnataka. During this shooting, the team has got caught in a new controversy. According to the report of India Today, the local people there have accused the forest of being damaged due to the large amount of explosives. District Panchayat member Sana Swamy alleged that animals and birds are being harmed during the shooting of this film. Farmers are already troubled by elephant attacks. Despite the Supreme Court's instructions to protect the forests, the officials are being negligent. Immediate action should be taken to prevent further damage.

Locals clashed with the crew members.

If reports are to be believed, the locals also clashed with the film's crew members. The dispute escalated so much that a young man got injured. After this, he was admitted to Crawford Hospital in Sakleshpur. According to the report, a case has also been registered at Yeslur Police Station. However, neither the film's makers nor Rishabh Shetty have reacted to all these allegations.

The minister in charge replied

The minister in charge of Khandre Bidar district has reacted to this entire matter. He said- 'There are reports that the Kantara team is using explosives during shooting, which is causing trouble to wildlife. As soon as I got information about this, I instructed the officials to visit the place on Monday and take stock of the situation. If the film crew violates the conditions and causes any harm to wildlife or vegetation, then the officials can immediately stop the shooting and take action.' 

Will be released in 2025

Rish Shetty has played a double role in this film. One is of Shiva and the other is of his father. As soon as this film became a hit, the makers announced its second part. According to this announcement, 'Kaatnara Chapter 1' will be released worldwide on October 2, 2025. The special thing is that a glimpse of this film was also shared with the fans in November last year.
