Qutub Minar is one of the ancient architectural wonders of India, located in the Mehrauli district of Delhi. It has the distinction of being the tallest brick tower in the world and is included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. This massive structure is believed to have been built using the remains of 27 nearby temples. There is an iron pillar near the tower, which is known as 'Kirti Stambh'. Legend has it that this pillar never rusts and is associated with the fulfillment of wishes. There are many interesting facts and stories related to this historical site, which we are going to share.

Kirti Stambh:

If you have seen the movie 'Cheeni Kum', you will remember its last scene where Amitabh Bachchan stands in front of Kirti Stambh and expresses a wish. It is shown in this film that if a person holds the diameter of this pillar in his arms, then all his wishes are fulfilled. However, this is not an easy task, since this has to be done not from the front, but from the back of the pillar.
