Revered as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas located across India, “Naina Devi Temple” is a sacred site located on the northern bank of Naini Lake in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. This temple is one of the most famous places of Hindu worship in the entire country. Dedicated to the eyes of Goddess Sati, devotees from all parts of India visit this area throughout the year. The temple was built in 15 A.D., while the idol of Naina Devi was installed in the temple in 1842 by a devotee of the goddess named Moti Ram Shah. Unfortunately, the temple collapsed due to a massive landslide in 1882. It was rebuilt again in 1883 by residents of the area. This shows his immense faith in the Goddess as well as his strong faith in his religion and values. The main deity of Naina Devi temple is Maa Naina Devi or Mata Sati. According to Hindu mythology, the temple was built at the exact spot. The place where Goddess Sati's gaze fell on the earth.

Mall Road
This road built on the banks of Naini Lake connects Mallital and Tallital. Here you will see a bustling atmosphere all the time. This temple is built in the dedication of Shri Neem Karoli Baba Ji who was a Hindu Guru and a staunch devotee of Hanuman Ji, who is known to have performed many miracles during his lifetime. Apart from this, the environment around this ashram is also green and quite golden. Neem Karoli Baba Ashram serves as the perfect image of silence and solitude, as it is nestled in the foothills, surrounded by lush greenery.
