Visit during the rainy season, people choose such places, which attract tourists due to their natural views during rainy days. Lonavala is one of my favorite places to visit during the monsoon. It is a famous tourist destination of Maharashtra which is situated between Mumbai and Pune. The atmosphere and climate of this place are so pleasing to the mind that it does not feel like leaving there. It is a perfect holiday destination for monsoon days. Today we are going to tell you about the places to visit in Lonavala. So let's know how to enjoy the fun of visiting Lonavala.

* Bushi Dam
Bushi Dam is located just 6 kilometers from Lonavala. It is known as a famous picnic spot here. Especially during the monsoon, a huge crowd of tourists can be seen here. If you go here, then do keep in mind that the water in the dam suddenly increases.

* Duke's Nose
Duke's Nose, also known as Hawthorn, is named after a British governor. Its peak can be easily climbed on foot from Khandala station. Sausage Hill and INS Shivaji are close to this hill. There is a small forest on Sausage Hill, where different species of birds can be seen.

* Ryewood Park
The view here is full of greenery. The natural sixth of green grasses with trees and plants all around is made on sight. The one who fascinates everyone and it attracts towards itself. That's why people from far and wide come here and enjoy this sight to the fullest. Here, from the elders to the old, they enjoy the litigants by having a lot of fun.

* Rajmachi Point
Rajmachi situated amidst beautiful valleys is situated at a distance of about 6 km from Lonavala. It got its name because of the village Rajmachi here. The reason for moving towards it is the center of an attraction along with the beauty of Shivaji Fort and Rajmachi Wild Life Sanctuary.

* Tungari Lake
Hungarian Lake was built during the British Empire to store rainwater. A lot of water gets accumulated in this lake during monsoon. Tourists can enjoy boating in this.

* Carla Cave
Karla cave is one of the oldest caves here. The stone-cut pillars of the Karle Caves have exquisite carvings. Built by the Hinayana sect, this cave was later taken over by the Mahayana sect. Koli temple is outside the main hall of this cave.

* Bhaja Cave
Bhaja caves are situated opposite Karle caves. It is located at a distance of 3 kilometers from Malawi station. The Bhaja caves were built in the 2nd century BC. The caves here are in better condition than the caves of Karle.
