The Taj-ul-Masjid in Bhopal is also called the Pink Mosque, whose precious stones were brought from the Syrian mosque. This mosque has been built in a very different way, its unique design makes it very beautiful to see. Here you also get to see many Islamic rocks and huge minarets.

Delhi's Jama Masjid
Perhaps many of you would not know the real name of this mosque. The real name of Delhi's Jama Masjid is 'Masjid-e-Jahan Numa'. This mosque was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656. At that time, about ten lakh rupees were spent on its construction. Red stone and white marble were used in the construction of the mosque and about twenty-five thousand laborers took part in this work. The mosque was inaugurated by Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari of Bukhara (Uzbekistan). But during the country's freedom struggle, the condition of the mosque deteriorated due to lack of maintenance. In 1948, a demand of Rs 75,000 was made from the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad to repair one-fourth of the mosque. But the Nizam gave a total of three lakh rupees. He said that I do not want that only one-fourth part of the mosque should look beautiful.

Jama Masjid of Ahmedabad
Jama Masjid is one of the largest and most famous mosques in India, which was built by the emperor Sultan Ahmed Shah. Jama Masjid looks very beautiful, the specialty of this mosque is that it has the tomb of the queen and son of the emperor Sultan. Apart from this, the Indo-Islamic architecture here is very attractive and memorable to see.

Mecca Masjid of Hyderabad
One of the oldest and largest mosques in India, the Mecca Masjid was built in 1694 with clay and bricks exported from Mecca. The 75 feet high mosque can accommodate 10,000 people at a time. The mosque is located near the historical sites of Chowmahalla Palace, Lad Bazaar, and Charminar. Now you must be wondering why the name of the mosque is 'Mecca Masjid'. So we tell you. Mohammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, ordered soil from Mecca, the holy city of Muslims, for the construction of the mosque. Jumma Masjid of Bangalore

Two-and-a-half-day hut in Ajmer
You must have heard about the Dargah of Ajmer Sharif, where lakhs of people from all over the country come to pray and visit. It sounds very strange to hear the name and after hearing the word hut, the shape of a hut is formed in the mind, but the name of this mosque located in Ajmer is Adhai Din Ka Jhopra. Amazing thing is that along with its name, many types of beliefs are prevalent regarding its construction. As the name itself suggests, it took about two and a half days to build it, so it came to be known as Dhai Din Ka Jhopra. On the other hand, others believe that since a two-and-a-half-day fair is held here, it was called a hut of two and a half days.
