Akshardham Temple
Akshardham Temple is built in Gandhinagar area of Ahmedabad. Akshardham Temple is considered one of the major cultural centers of Gujarat. This temple was established in 1992. In this temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, his gold statue about 7 feet high is kept. The intricately carved walls of this temple are covered with pink stone which glistens in the sunlight during the day. A large number of people come to visit this temple which is decorated with lush green trees and plants. There is proper arrangement for children to play in the gardens here. Apart from this, the beautiful waterfalls and lakes here attract tourists. Jagannath Temple
It is said about the construction of this temple that about 150 years ago, Lord Jagannathji, in the dream of Mahant Narsinghdasji, ordered that his temple be established here along with his brother Baldev and sister Subhadra. In the morning, Mahantji put this dream in front of the villagers and all accepted it happily and performed the life-consecration of Lord Jagannath with pomp. As soon as Lord Jagannath was enthroned, the brightness of the area increased. Here the attractive idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadraji and Goddess Subhadra fascinate every devotee who visits. After that, from 1878, the Rath Yatra, which is taken out on the day of Ashadhi Beej, has now become a part of the tradition here. During this, special decoration of the temple is also done. Devotees who participate in the Rath Yatra consider themselves lucky. With the echoes of Jai Ranchod, Makhanchor, there is an influx of devotees who come from far and wide to have a darshan of Lord Jagannath. In view of this, strict security arrangements are made here. Vaishno Devi Temple
It is located on Gandhinagar road and is one of the best temples in Ahmedabad. This temple is a replica of Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir. It is built on a man-made hill and one has to climb the hill to visit this temple. You must visit here during Navratri festival. All the nine days of the festival are celebrated here with great enthusiasm. There is also a Tirupati Balaji temple nearby, which you can visit while visiting this temple.

Dada Bhagwan Temple
This temple of Ahmedabad is also known as Adalaj Trimandir. It is located in Adalaj village, about 20 km from the city. It has been constructed by Dada Bhagwan Foundation. It is a large two-storied temple decorated with white marble and has idols of Tirthankaras, Ajitnath Bhagwan, Rushabhdev Bhagwan, Mahavir Bhagwan as well as Shasha Devi, Padmavati Devi and Chakreshwari Devi. It also has a large hall with multiple cameras and projectors for satsang activities. The capacity of the hall is more than 500 people. It also organizes puppet shows in its premises. Apart from this, facilities like bookstore, AC and non-AC rooms and Ayurveda medical dispensary are also available for the pilgrims.

Hathi Singh Temple
This Jain temple was built in 1848 and is dedicated to Dharmanath (the fifteenth Jain Tirthankara). In addition, there are 52 sub-shrines in the courtyard dedicated to various other Tirthankaras. There are large raised verandahs on the three outer sides, with decorated pillars and sculpted brackets. 78 feet near the front entrance is also a tall Mahavir Stambha. In fact, some of the motifs are inspired by the Sultanate minarets of the Mughal period.

Iskcon temple
