There is a huge crowd of devotees in the Khabis Baba temple located in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. There is a practice of offering liquor to the deity in the form of Prasad and later the same liquor is distributed to the devotees as Prasad. In Ujjain's Kaal Bhairav temple, alcohol is offered to Bhairav Baba and the same prasad is received.
Red cloth is found in Kamakhya Devi temple
There is no prasad as unique as that offered at the Kamakhya Devi Temple in Guwahati. Kamakhya Devi Temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Maa Durga. The temple is also known for its black magic rituals. Every year during monsoon the temple is closed for 3 days. The spring flowing from the Garbhagraha is believed to turn red during those days. Also, the red cloth covering the stone idol is cut and given to the devotees as Prasad. Whereas on other days, whatever the devotees offer to the Mother Goddess with reverence, the Mother accepts it. You can also offer your gift to the mother by taking a plate of prasad found near the temple.
