Nighoj Pits, Maharashtra
Nighoj in Maharashtra is such a place, from where your mind will remain there even after coming back. These round-shaped ponds have been formed automatically by the water of Kukri River over thousands of years. Some of these pits are even 40 feet deep. Both summer and winter seasons are good to visit here as there is not much water in the river.

Loktak Lake, Manipur
It is the largest freshwater lake in the North East. Laktak Lake has many unique ecosystems, called fundis. These fungi, which look like small islands, come in many forms and float on a freshwater lake. What makes Loktak Lake special is the world's first swimming national park located in its southwestern part.

Hogenakkal Falls, Karnataka
This spectacular waterfall is Hogenakkal, which means Smoking Rocks in Kannada language. The Kaveri River creates such a beautiful spray from a height of 150 feet that it looks like smoke. Surrounded by black granite stones on both sides, Hogenakkal is not a huge waterfall, but a series of many small falls, which merge into a stream.

Living Root Bridge, Meghalaya
The Khasi people of this village have built a living root bridge by tying together the roots of elastic rubber trees that have been fixed on both sides of the stream for 10-15 years. There are currently around 100 living root bridges. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage, which does not need maintenance because its roots are very strong.

Marble Rocks, Bhedaghat
The Marble Rocks of Bhedaghat, located on the banks of the Narmada River, look like limestone. These stones come in shades like white and gray due to the presence of magnesium in large quantities. Its texture is also like soap. The height of these stones is 100 feet, and they look very beautiful standing tall against the blue-green water. One can also enjoy a boat ride here and see the beauty of the nearby Dhuandhar Waterfall.

Yana Rocks, Karnataka
Yana village is located in the northern part of Karnataka. This crystal is made of karst limestone, which is two stones. These two stones are known as Bhairaveshwar Shikhar and Mohini Shikhar. There is also a cave temple at the base of these stones, in which the annual festival of the month Shivaratri is organized. It can be reached after a trek of 3 kilometers. There are also many folk tales about the Yana Rocks.

Songesar Lake, Arunachal Pradesh
This lake was formed as a result of an earthquake, which is very beautiful. The local people here call it Shongasser Lake. After the earthquake in 1971, Shoksen village was buried and this beautiful lake was formed in its place. It is also called Madhuri Lake because Madhuri Dixit shot her film Koyla here. To see this lake, permission is required from the office of the District Commissioner of Tawang.
