The country is moving towards science and technology. We can connect with the whole world just with our fingers. More than electricity and water, we have now entered the AI era. In the cashless era, every facility can be availed by phone. In such a situation, it seems very difficult to live without a phone and remain completely untouched by technology.
But do you know that there is a place in India which is far away from electricity, mobile and technical things? Completely different from the fast-paced world, this place is neither noisy nor crowded. This place is untouched by technological progress but is very close to purity, divinity, and spirituality. People like to come to this place for peace of mind and relaxation. Let us know about such a village in India.
Where is Tatiya village
Vrindavan City located in Uttar Pradesh is famous as a religious place. The small Tatiya village of Vrindavan gives a feeling of peace and tranquility. The people of this village are completely away from noise, technology, machines, and the use of electricity.
There is no electricity here nor do the people of the village use phones or AC. It would be surprising to know that while fans and ACs are available in every house, none of the houses in this village even have fans or bulbs. There is a temple of Thakur ji here, in which an old fashioned string fan is used to provide air to the Lord.
History of Tatiya Village
The history related to the village is quite interesting. The seventh Acharya Swami Lalit Kishori Dev Ji decided to leave Nidhivan and meditate sitting under a waterless tree. To make the place safe for Acharya ji, the entire area was surrounded using bamboo sticks. In the local language, bamboo sticks are called tatiya. In such a situation the village was named Tatiya.
It is at this place that sages and saints come to separate themselves from the world and immerse themselves in the worship of Thakur ji. Coming to this village, you will feel as if you have gone back many centuries, where there is no attachment or contact with the outside world.
Specialty of Tatiya village
The village is very green. Different types of trees and plants are planted here. Every tree is dedicated to the gods. It is believed that the name Radha is embossed on the leaves of trees. Most of them are Neem, Peepal, and Kadamba trees.
People do not perform puja or aarti at this spiritual place. However, people gather here and sing hymns of Radha Krishna.
Water from the well is still drunk in this village. Cleanliness is taken care of. Many saints and sages come to this village but no one takes Dakshina nor any donation box is kept here.
If you want to come here, remember that there is a restriction on bringing phones. Apart from this, the use of any kind of modern equipment is prohibited in this village. Whereas women are allowed to enter only with their heads covered.
