Ropeway in Auli and its specialty
Gulmarg in Kashmir is considered to be the longest ropeway in Asia, while the second one is the Auli-Joshimath Ropeway. In 1982, then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi laid the foundation stone of this 4.15 km long ropeway and it was completed in 1994.
