Jhalawar is a historical city located in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan state of India. It is also the headquarters of the district. Jhalawar is part of the Hadauti region in the southeast of Rajasthan state. Apart from Jhalawar, Kota, Baran, and Bundi come under the Hadauti region. Jhalawar of Rajasthan has carved a distinct identity for itself in terms of tourism. This city, which cherishes the art and culture of Rajasthan, is known for its beautiful lakes, forts, and temples. Gadmahal
Gadmahal was the grand palace of the kings of the Jhala dynasty. This palace located in the center of the city has three artistic gates. The façade of the palace is four stories, in which the proportional arrangement of arches, windows, and domes is worth seeing.

The Archaeological Museum located near the Nakarkhana of the complex is also worth visiting. The construction of the palace was started by Raja Rana Madan Singh in 1838 AD, which was later completed by Raja Prithvi Singh. In 1921, Raja Bhawani Singh built a theater in the rear of the palace. Krishna Sagar

Gagron Fort
The Gagron Fort situated at the confluence of the Kali Sindh River and the Ahu River is a historical heritage of Jhalawar. It is located at a distance of 8 kilometers to the north of the city. Garh Gagron is also the tomb of the great Saint Pipa. From the 13th century, Gagron was ruled by the Khinkis (Chauhans). In this clan, Naresh Rao Pratap Singh was the one who killed the Tughlaq army, who killed Lallan Pathan, the commander of the Tughlaq army, in one stroke, then Rao Pratap Singh ji got distracted by seeing the loss of meat and alcohol among the Kshatriyas. Sun Temple
The other twin city of Jhalawar, Jhalrapatan is also known as the city of bells. The Sun Temple located in the center of the city is the major tourist attraction of Jhalrapatan. Fort of Manohar Thana
This fort is very ancient. This fort is situated at the confluence of the Kalikhad River and the Parvan River. Thus this fort belongs to the water fort category. Now the people here have taken possession of this fort and have made their residence here only.

Kamkheda Balaji Temple
The famous Hanumanji temple is located in the village Kamkheda of Manohar police station tehsil. Here Hanumanji is worshiped in the form of Balaji.
