This year the festival of Vasant Panchami is being celebrated on 14 February 2024. Every year the festival of Vasant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magh month. There is a tradition of worshiping Mother Saraswati on this day. Wearing yellow clothes, everyone from children to elders worships Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of art, music, and learning, and offers yellow prasad.

Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple, Andhra Pradesh
There is a temple of Mata Saraswati in Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh, whose name is Basra. According to mythological belief, after the war of Mahabharata, Sage Vyas went in search of peace, during which he reached Kumarachala hill on the banks of river Godavari and worshiped Mother Saraswati. Happy, the mother appeared before him. Later the temple of Mother Saraswati was built here.

Panachikkad Saraswati Temple, Kerala
There is a temple of Mother Saraswati in Kerala also. This temple was established by Kizheppuran Namboodiri. It is said that Kizheppuran had found the idol of Mother Saraswati in this place. The temple is also called south facing. Here a divine lamp is always burning near the idol of the Mother Goddess.

Sharda Temple of Maihar
There is a grand temple of Maa Saraswati near Satna district on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The name of this temple is famous as Maihar Devi Temple. The temple is situated on the Trikuta hill at a height of 600 feet. Devotees have to climb 1063 steps to have the darshan of the mother.

Saraswati Temple of Pushkar
This place is quite famous because of the presence of the only temple of Brahmadev in Pushkar. Apart from the temple of Lord Brahma in Pushkar, Rajasthan, there is also a temple of Mother Saraswati located nearby. It is believed that by worshiping in this temple every wish is fulfilled.
