As soon as you hear the name Goa, pictures of beautiful beaches start floating in your mind. Most Indians dream of visiting this smallest state at least once in their life. This state is divided into North and South. In such a situation, many people remain confused as to which is the better place to visit in North and South Goa.

Manohar International Airport is close to North Goa, whereas if you want to stay in South Goa then book a flight ticket for Goa International Airport. Talking about rail connectivity, both the big railway stations Margao and Vasco-da-Gama are in South Goa.

It is difficult to compare where are the more beautiful beaches in North and South Goa. In the northern part, you can visit Anjuna, Baga, Candolim, Morjim, Calangute, Vagator, and Arambol beaches, while in the southern part, you can visit Miramar, Caranjalem, Dona Paula, Colva, Butterfly Beach, and Canninginim Beach.

If you are fond of shopping, then there are many budget markets for you in North Goa from where you can buy souvenirs. You can visit Arpora Market, Anjuna Flea Market, Mapusa Market, and Mackis’s Night Bazaar. Apart from this, many local markets will be found in Panjim, the capital of Goa. There are options like Collem, Palolem, and Kaculo Market in South Goa.

If we talk about hotels and food, North Goa is more budget-friendly. Here you will find hotels and homestays at low prices. At the same time, you may have to spend more money to live in South Goa. However, if you are looking for peace then spend some money and book a luxury resort in South Goa.

Very few people know that there is no dearth of waterfalls in this smallest state of India. In the North, you can enjoy Harvalem, Heaverem, and Charwane Waterfalls. If we talk about South, Dudhsagar, Netravali, Kuskem, Bamanbudo, and Tambdi Surla will be seen.
