Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan
After birth, little Krishna was secretly left by his father Vasudev at his cousin Nand Baba's house in Gokul. Kanhaiya's childhood was spent in Gokul as the son of Nandbaba and his wife Mata Yashoda. Later he came to Vrindavan. Kanha used to play in the streets of Gokul and Vrindavan, used to take his cows for grazing. There are many temples of Krishna in the streets of Gokul and Vrindavan, which bring back memories of him. Banke Bihari temple of Vrindavan is also in these temples. Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan is one of the oldest temples in India. On the day of Janmashtami here, after Mangala Aarti, the doors of the temple are opened for the devotees at 2 pm. Prem Mandir, Vrindavan

Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi, Mathura
Kanha was born in the prison built in the palace of King Kansa in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Kansa was the maternal uncle of Kanhaiya. Following a prophecy, Kansa imprisoned his sister and brother-in-law. The prison where Kanha was born is today known as Krishna Janmabhoomi. Krishna Janmabhoomi has been prepared as a beautiful temple. An artificial cave has been made after entering the temple, where the whole story of Krishna's birth is shown to the devotees through tableaus. Guruvayoor Temple, Kerala
After coming to power again, Prime Minister Narendra Modi first came here to visit on 8th June. This ancient temple of Kerala is believed to be related to Gujarat. The child form of Lord Krishna is worshiped in this temple. Apart from this, ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu are also depicted in the temple. This temple is also known as Dwarka of South and Baikuntha of Bhuloka. In this temple, there is a provision of free food i.e. Bhandara for the devotees twice a day. Jagannath Puri, Orissa
The Jagannath Puri Temple in Orissa is one of the Char Dhams of India. Lord Krishna is seated here with elder brother Balarama and sister Subhadra. It is believed that after Dwapar, Lord Krishna started residing in Puri. The annual Rath Yatra of Jagannath Puri is famous all over the world. Devotees from far and wide come here to pull the chariot of Lord Krishna. A procession of three huge chariots is taken out, in which Lord Balarama is at the forefront, then sister Subhadra and at last Lord Shri Jagannath, the lord of the world. Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara
Shrinathji's temple is in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Here Lord Krishna is called Srinath. This temple is considered paramount among the major pilgrimage places of the Vallabh sect of the Vaishnava sect. Nathdwara Dhan is situated on the banks of the Banas River in the Rajsamand district, about 48 km from Udaipur. When the cruel Mughal ruler Aurangzeb ordered the demolition of Gokul's temple, Vallabh Goswami came to Nathdwara with the idol here and re-established that idol there. This temple was built in the 12th century.
Sri Krishna Matha Temple, Udupi
The temple of Udupi is one of the most famous temples of Lord Krishna in South India. There is a specialty of the Udupi Sri Krishna Matha temple in Karnataka.
