Bansi Narayan Temple of Uttarakhand
There is a temple in Uttarakhand, whose doors are opened only once a year, and that day is Raksha Bandhan. This miraculous and unique temple is located in Chamoli district. On the day of Rakshabandhan, sisters tie Rakhi to their brothers in this temple. It is believed that Lord Vishnu, after being freed from the Vamana avatar, first appeared here.

Yamuna Dharmaraj Temple of Mathura

There is a temple dedicated to Yamraj and his sister Yamuna in Mathura, which is located at the famous Vishram Ghat of Mathura. In this temple, Yamraj and Yamuna Maa are specially worshipped as brothers and sisters. It is believed that brother and sister should visit this temple together after taking a bath together in the Yamuna river.

Bhaiya Bahini Village, Bihar

There is a temple symbolizing the sacred relationship of brother and sister in the Siwan district of Bihar. This temple is in Bhaiya Bahini village, located near Bhikha Dam, 3 km from Maharajganj subdivision headquarters. A brother and sister are worshipped here for 500 years. It is said that at the place where the brother and sister took samadhi, two banyan trees grew, whose roots are not known to anyone to date. It is believed that these two Banyan trees protect each other. On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, brothers and sisters come here and do parikrama of the Banyan tree and tie Raksha Sutra under it.

bijnor's Bhai-Behan Mandir

There is an ancient temple of brother and sister in the Chudiya Khera forest of Bijnor. It is said that in the Satyuga, a brother was returning with his sister on foot from her in-laws' house, when bandits stopped them on the way and misbehaved with the sister. The brother and sister prayed to God to save them from the bandits, after which both of them turned into stone statues. Even today, their statues are installed at this place in the form of gods and goddesses.
