There are three Shaktipeeths in Madhya Pradesh, one Harsiddhi Devi Shaktipeeth, the second Shon Narmada Shaktipeeth, and the third Maihar Mata Temple.

Harsiddhi Devi Shaktipeeth
Harsiddhi Devi Shaktipeeth is in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, where the elbow of Mata Sati fell. It is located on the western bank of Rudra Sagar Lake. It is said that Mata resides in Gujarat during the day and Ujjain at night.

Shon Dev Narmada Shaktipeeth
Mata's right buttock fell in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh. Since the Narmada river originates here, Mata is worshipped here in the form of Narmada. It is also called Sonakshi Shaktipeeth.

Maihar Devi Temple
Maihar Mata Temple is famous in the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, which is located on Trikut Hill. It is said that Mata Sati's necklace fell here, hence this place was named Maihar. Devotees have to climb 1063 stairs to reach this temple. However, the ropeway service has also started now.

Mata Pitambara Peeth

Maa Pitambara Peeth is located in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, where Maa Baglamukhi is worshipped in the form of Pitambara. Vankhandeshwar Mahadev temple of the Mahabharata period is located here, as well as the Dhumavati Mata temple.

Chausath Yogini Temple

Bhedaghat has the popular Chausath Yogini temple of Mata, which was built around the 10th century. It is said that 64 Yoginis reside here along with Goddess Durga.

Bijasan Mata Temple

Bijasan Mata Temple is in Indore, which is situated on the mountains at an altitude of 800 feet. Fairs are organized around the temple and the temple premises are decorated like a bride.

Kalika Mata Temple

Kalika Mata Temple is in Ratlam district of the state, which is considered miraculous. It is believed that when devotees stand in front of the statue of Mata Kalika, a special kind of energy starts accumulating in their bodies. On the occasion of Navratri, a fair is organized near the Kalika Mata temple.
