Chakkulathukavu Temple, Kerala
Located in Kerala, this is another temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. In this temple, men are not allowed to enter during a specific time of the year. Nari Puja is held here every year during the first Friday of December where male priests wash the feet of all the female devotees who have been fasting for 10 days. This day is called Dhanu and only women can enter the temple on this day. On this day women gather in large numbers to worship.
Rajarajeshwari Temple, Bihar
The Rajarajeshwari Temple of Muzaffarpur in North Bihar is generally open to devotees throughout the year. But there comes a time when men are prohibited from entering here. At that particular time, even its chief priest, who is a man, is not allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum. This temple is dedicated to Raj Rajeshwari Devi. This temple is counted among the major Shaktipeeths of Bihar. During Navratri, a crowd of lakhs of people gather in this temple. The form of the goddess seated in this temple is that of Shodashi i.e. a sixteen-year-old girl. According to ancient texts, Shodashi Devi is considered to be the fourth among the ten Mahavidyas. Her mantra also consists of 16 letters. This goddess has sixteen arms. This mother is also known as Tripura Sundari. The idol of Goddess Shodashi located in Muzaffarpur temple of Bihar is made of gold. It is believed that Shodashi Devi is a Kumari Kanya. She menstruates for 4 days in a month. During this time, no man can enter the temple.
Kamakhya Temple, Assam
The Kamakhya Temple located in Assam is a Shakti Peeth. This temple is counted among the major temples of the country. This Shakti Peeth of the country is the only temple where men are not allowed to enter the temple at certain times of the year. This Shakti Peeth temple located among the Nilachal hills of Guwahati, Assam, hosts a grand Ambubachi fair every year. During the Ambubachi fair, the main gate of the temple is closed for four days. It is believed that the vagina of Goddess Sati fell at this place, which led to the formation of a Shakti Peeth. During the Ambubachi fair, it is the time of the Goddess' menstruation. On this occasion, men are prohibited from entering the temple premises for four days. During these days, only female priests perform all the religious rituals of the temple.

Santoshi Mata Temple, Jodhpur
Although both the temple and the fast of Santoshi Mata are for women, men also visit this temple. There is a huge temple in Jodhpur which has mythological significance. However, if we look at the historical story of the worship of Santoshi Mata, then it became more popular only in the 1960s, not before that. Women are allowed to do special worship in Santoshi Mata temple on Fridays and only women keep this fast. The story of Santoshi Mata's devotee Satyavati is told in the fast stories. Men are prohibited from going here on Fridays. Although this prohibition is only for one day, still it is considered necessary.
