This year August 15 is on a Tuesday. Due to this, the second Saturday and Sunday of the first month can be a holiday. On the other hand, if you take leave from college or the office on Monday i.e. 14 August, then you have four consecutive days off. Puducherry
The month of August is the month of monsoon. Apart from enjoying the rains in this season, you can visit Puducherry to enjoy the natural beauty of the scenery. One can experience the romantic atmosphere on the golden sand in this serene and clean place. Puducherry was once a French colony, hence the French heritage and culture can be felt here.
