Once there was heavy rain in Gokul. Gokul residents felt that Lord Indra was angry with them. He started worshiping Indradev. On this, Shri Krishna took the people of Braj to the nearby Govardhan Mountain and said, O Govardhan Nath, protect us the people of Braj.
