Tansen Tomb
Tansen Tomb is a place to visit in Gwalior, which is the final resting place of Tansen, the great musician of India and the chief singer of Akbar's court. It was built in the 16th century AD during the reign of Akbar. Tansen was one of the nine gems of Akbar's court. His tomb is located near the tomb of his guru, Sufi saint Mohammad Ghaus. Tansen Tomb is a typical example of Mughal architecture. Tourists visiting here can not only feel the musical legacy of Tansen but also see the tomb of his guru Mohammed Ghaus.
Gwalior Fort
The Gwalior Fort, one of the most formidable fortifications in the whole of northern and southern India, was referred to by the Mughal emperor Babur as the "jewel among forts in India". This is a place you really must visit. Situated on top of a large rocky mountain near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, central India, this massive building dominates the entire city. Jai Vilas Palace

This well-preserved palatial monument was built by Jayaji Rao Scindia who was once the Maharaja of Gwalior. Teli Ka Mandir
When visiting Gwalior Fort, do visit Teli Ka Mandir. This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built in Dravidian style architecture, was constructed in the 9th century AD during the reign of Pratihara king Mihir Bhoj. This temple, about 30 meters high, has a sanctum sanctorum with a veranda and a gate.
Moti Mahal
Moti Mahal, a tourist destination located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, is a grand building built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jayajirao Scindia. It was earlier used as the assembly hall of the Scindia dynasty of Central India. The main Durbar Hall of the palace has a heavy chandelier which is 1. It weighs 5 tons and is made of Belgian glass. Gujari Mahal
The Gujari Mahal located in the Gwalior Fort was built by Raja Man Singh Tomar in the 15th century as a monument of love for his favorite Gujar queen Mrignayani. The museum of Gujari Mahal is the oldest museum in Madhya Pradesh and this palace is decorated with colorful tiles. The remains found during excavations from various cities have been preserved here. These heritages especially display statues, ancient coins, paintings, musical instruments, and weapons, which tourists come from far and wide to see.
Man Mandir Palace
Located at the northeastern end of the fort, Man Mandir Palace was built by the Tomar ruler Man Singh Tomar between 1486 and 1516. The palace could not survive over time, however, the remains of the palace still display the beautiful carvings and designs of that era. Amazingly carved stone walls and perfectly laid tiles showcase the Rajput style of architecture here. The Jauhar Talab in the palace is famous as the suicide point where Rajput women used to commit suicide to save their honor. This was the same place where Aurangzeb held his brother Murad captive and slowly poisoned him to death using opium. The palace is also surrounded by other monuments like the Jahangir Mahal, Shah Jahan Mahal, and Gujari Mahal.
