Dayara Bugyal is situated at an altitude of 3048 meters above sea level in Uttarkashi. The road to this beautiful meadow cuts through a place called Bhatwari situated on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri road. To reach Dayara Bugyal, travelers have to cover a distance of about 8 kilometers by trekking from Barsu village. During winter tourists can enjoy skiing on the slopes in this area spread over approximately 28 square km. This place also offers a spectacular view of the Himalayas.

Chaukori
