Brahma Sarovar
This lake, associated with the creator of the universe, Brahma ji, is in the center of the city. Aarti is performed at Brahma Sarovar in the evening. This place gives a spiritual experience amidst the chanting of Vedic chants. There is a mini Kumbh near the lake, where lakhs of people reach to take a dip on special occasions.
48 kos land
The importance of 48 kos land of Kurukshetra is described in the scriptures. The area around Saraswati and Drishavati rivers is called 48 Kos. There are more than 164 pilgrimage sites in this, which can take several days to visit. Starting from Pipli in Kurukshetra, passing through Kaithal, Jind, Panipat, and Karnal come in 48 kos of land. It is said that the land reached by the warriors fighting in the war of Mahabharata got included in the land of 48 kos.
Jyotisar
This is the same place where the Kaurava-Pandava armies stood facing each other and Shri Krishna preached the Gita. A 52 feet tall bronze statue of Lord Krishna's gigantic form has been installed here.
Bhadrakali Temple
Bhadrakali Temple is one of the famous 52 Shaktipeeths of the Goddess. It is believed that the part below the knee of Mata Sati had fallen in the well here. The Pandavas worshiped in this temple along with Lord Krishna and the Ashwamedha Yagya was performed here.
