Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh shares its borders with Bhutan and China, hence, being a sensitive area, you must have an ILP permit to visit certain places. Those planning to travel here can obtain permits for protected areas through the Resident Commissioner of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The permit can be obtained for a maximum of Rs 100 per person for a maximum of 30 days.
Ladakh
If you are planning to visit Ladakh, then you should also visit beautiful tourist places like Nubra Valley, Khardung La Pass, Tso Moriri Lake, Pangong Tso Lake, Dah, Hanu Village, Nyoma, Turtuk, Digger La, and Tangyar. You need an Inner Line Permit. For the permit, you have to pay a self-attested copy of the nationality proof and Rs 30. The validity of this permit is only for one day.
Nagaland
Nagaland shares its border with Myanmar in the east. About 16 tribes also live here and have their distinct language and customs. Nagaland has been one of the most beautiful destinations for its natural resources. For some border areas here you need an ILP permit. You can also get the permit online. The border of Nagaland has been considered very sensitive.
Lakshadweep
Although there are 36 islands in Lakshadweep, but permission to visit is available only in 10 islands. It is located in the Arabian Sea, about 300 kilometers away from Indian land. To visit or travel here, any person needs an Inner Line Permit, the charge for which is only ₹ 50 per application, and for this you will need your ID proof and passport-size photo.
Mizoram
Mizoram shares its border with Myanmar and Bangladesh, where many tribal communities also live. To visit this beautiful destination, it is also mandatory to have an Inner Line Permit, which you can obtain from the Liaison Officer, Government of Mizoram. Special passes can also be obtained from the security officials at Lengpui Airport in Aizawl.
Sikkim
Sikkim shares international border with three countries. With China in the north and east, Bhutan in the east, and Nepal in the west. Entry is restricted to certain places in Sikkim and an Indian citizen must obtain an Inner Line Permit to visit protected areas such as Lachung, Tsomgo Lake, Nathulla, Dzongri and Goichla Trek, Yumthang, Yumsangdong, Thangu/Chopta Valley, Gurudongmar Lake. Permits for Nathula and Gurudongmar Lake are issued by the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation. It can be taken from Bagdogra Airport and Rangpo Check Post. Travel agents and tour operators also arrange for this permit.
Manipur
