Uday Sagar Lake
Udai Sagar Lake, located about 13 kilometers east of Udaipur, is one of the five unique lakes of Udaipur. The construction of which was started in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh. The lake is the result of a dam being built on the Berach River to supply enough water to the Maharana's kingdom. Let us tell you that Udai Sagar Lake is 4 kilometers in length, 2.5 kilometers in width, and 9 meters in depth, which has become a popular place for tourists traveling to Udaipur.

Man Sagar Lake
Man Sagar Lake is an artificial lake enhancing the beauty of Nahargarh hills. There is a historical Jal Mahal built in the middle of this lake, which is very beautiful to see. Boating is not allowed on the lake here. However, there is a good amount of space on its embankment, where you can do photography. As the evening sets in, fast food and chaat shops start decorating here. Handicrafts and traditional clothes are sold. You can call it a fair held every evening.

Pichola Lake
Lake Pichola is one of the most famous lakes in Rajasthan. There are two islands in this lake and palaces are built on both. Where one is Jag Niwas, which has now become Lake Palace Hotel and the other is Jag Mandir. You can reach these palaces by boat. Along with this, the view of the Aravalli hills is mesmerizing and you can enjoy the view of the magnificent City Palace here. It is one of the oldest and largest lakes in the city and attracts a large number of tourists every year.

Anasagar Lake
This lake located in the middle of Ajmer city was built by Ajayraj's son Aniraj (Prithviraj Chauhan's grandfather Anaji) in 1137 AD. Got it done in Jayanak wrote in his book Prithviraj Vijay that "Ajmer was built to purify Ajmer from the blood of the Turks" because the Turks had shed a lot of blood in this victory. Being located in the middle of the mountains, this lake presents a very picturesque view, so the Mughal ruler Jahangir built the palace of Noorjahan (Ruthi Rani) near it. Jahan's mother Asmat Begum invented rose perfume. Jahangir built the Chashma-e-Noor waterfall on its banks. Shah Jahan built five baradaris in this garden.

Didwana Lake
This lake is located in Didwana in Nagaur district. This lake is situated 65 km away from Sambhar Lake in the North West. The length of this lake is 4 km and its width is 3 to 12 km. Salt is prepared from this lake throughout the year, but the salt here is not of the best quality, due to which this salt is not used in normal food, it is used in the leather and dyeing industry. A plant of sodium sulfate has been established 8 km from Didwana town. Salt obtained from this lake is consumed in Bikaner and Jodhpur districts.

Dudh Talai Lake
Dudh Talai Lake, situated amidst small hills, is an attractive tourist destination of Udaipur. Surrounded by wonderful hills all around, this lake organizes attractive activities of camel and horse riding which remains a center of attraction for the tourists. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park and Manikya Lal Verma Garden are also a part of Dudh Talai Lake where Manikya Lal Verma Garden, Lake Pichola, and Dudh Talai Lake offer wonderful views to the tourists. Apart from this, the holy temple of Karni Mata is also situated on the hill, in which the milky white idol of Mata Karni is installed.

Gadisar Lake
According to information, this lake was excavated by Maharaj Gaddi Singh in the 14th century. The lake was named after him as Gadisar Lake. Surrounded by historical monuments, this lake looks very beautiful. The view here becomes even more beautiful during the monsoon. Once upon a time, this lake used to be the main water source of Jaisalmer. Today it is one of the most loved attractions of the city. A large number of tourists and local people come here to visit.

Pushkar Lake
This lake located in Pushkar is considered a sacred lake in Hindu scriptures. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that this lake was formed by a lotus petal that fell from the hands of Lord Brahma. The lake is surrounded by 300 temples and has 52 ghats. It is not only a tourist spot, but its water is also considered medicinal which can cure all skin-related problems. It is also said that those who take a bath in this lake attain salvation.

Jaisamand Lake
This lake is also called by the name of Dhebar Lake. This lake is located 50 km southeast of Udaipur City. It was constructed by Raja Jai Singh in 1685 -1691 by building a dam on the Gomti River. This dam is 375 meters long and 35 meters high. This lake is about 15 km long and 8 km wide. There are about seven deep (islands) in this lake. On which people of Bhil and Meena castes live. The name of the biggest island is 'Baba Ka Bhangra' and the name of the smallest island is 'Pyaari'. There are 6 artistic canopies and palaces built in this lake which are very beautiful. This lake is surrounded by hills, this lake is situated in a calm and picturesque environment, the natural beauty of this lake is beautiful, which is the main center of tourist attraction. This lake is the largest freshwater lake in Rajasthan. Two canals have been taken out from this lake for irrigation, namely Shyampura and Bhat canals.

Silisedh Lake
Spread over an area of 7 km, Silisedh Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Rajasthan and one of the most popular places in Alwar. Earlier in 1845, Silisedh Lake was built to supply water to the city of Alwar, whose establishment is credited to Maharaja Vinay Khan. There is a magnificent lake palace on this lake. Which was considered the favorite of the Maharaja. Silisedh Lake, located at a distance of about 13 km from Alwar City, is a popular picnic spot for tourists.
