Victory column
Vijay Stambh, also known as Vijay Minar, is the piece of resistance of Chittorgarh. Built-in 1440 AD by Maharana Kumbha to commemorate his victory over Mohammed Khilji, this 9-story tower is adorned with sculptures of Hindu deities all around. The mighty tower was constructed between the period 1458 and 1488 and is so tall and massive that it can be seen from any part of the city. The interior of the tower has carvings of weapons, musical instruments, and other equipment from that period. The topmost story houses an image of the Jain goddess, Padmavati. Also, the word Allah is carved nine times on the third floor and eight times on the eighth floor, in Arabic.

Maha sati
Maha Sati is a very holy place situated about 110 km from Chittorgarh. Let us tell you that this place is so special because the last rites of Udaipur rulers were performed here. It is a very beautiful and magnificent structure which attracts tourists towards it. Due to a reservoir here, it is believed that the water of the river Ganges comes out of it. The Ahar cenotaph here has 19 chhatris to commemorate the 19 kings where they were cremated.

Kumbha Mahal

This huge Shwetambar Jain temple was built in the 11th century and tells about the life and virtues of Lord Adinath. The name of the temple suggests that at some point in history, there were twenty-seven temples inside this temple alone. Though no trace has survived of these monuments, the Sathisdevari temple itself is a grand sight.

Meera Mandir
