Hanuman Garhi is one of the major religious places of Ayodhya. Hanuman Garhi has a temple dedicated to Hanuman, which has religious significance. This temple site was earlier owned by the Nawab of Awadh, who donated it for the construction of the temple. This temple is situated on top of a hill that was built in the 10th century. To reach the temple, travelers have to go through 76 steps. The idol of Hanuman Ji situated in the temple welcomes the devotees. The top of the hill offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills. People of the Hindu religion come in large numbers to visit this temple and have a darshan of Hanuman ji as well as pray for freedom from their sins.

Kanak Bhavan
As you must be able to understand from the name it is made of Kanak i.e. gold, hence it is also called the "House of Gold". The temple has a very beautiful idol of Lord Rama and Sita with a gold crown installed on their heads. You will become a fan of its fine artistry just by seeing the idol. A wonderful performance of music and songs is performed in a part of this building, which is the main attraction here and that is why there is a huge crowd of travelers here.

Tulsi Memorial Building
The Tulsi Smarak Bhavan, built in memory of the 16th-century saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas, is believed to be the place where Tulsidas composed the Ramcharit. Located at the eastern end of the National Highway at Rajgang crossing in Ayodhya, the memorial was built in 1969 by Shri Vishwanath Das, the then Governor of Uttar Pradesh. You will get to see a store of rich literature in the huge library. The memorial also has a research center named 'Ayodhya Research Institute'. It is used to add significance to the study and literary, cultural, and spiritual information about Ayodhya. The center also displays Ramayana arts and crafts and has daily recitations of the Ramayana.

Dasaratha Palace
Dashrath Mahal is just a short distance from Hanuman Garhi located in the heart of Ayodhya City. King Dasaratha was the king of Ayodhya and the father of Lord Rama. There is also a temple inside this palace where idols of Bharat and Shatrughan along with Lord Shri Ram, Lakshman, and Mother Sita are installed. Today this palace has been transformed into a holy temple where Ramayana recitations and songs are held all the time. Dashrath Mahal is also known as Bada Sthan or Badi Sthan.

Treta's Thakur
Treta Ke Thakur is an ancient temple located on the banks of the Sarayu River in Ayodhya. It is believed that the idols of Lord Rama are kept in this temple which was carved out of black sandstones in ancient times. It is also said about this temple that this is the place where Shri Ram performed Ashwamedh Yagya. If you are going to visit Ayodhya then you must visit this holy temple.

Sita's kitchen
It is situated on the northwest side of Ram Janmasthan. It is a temple that has been converted into a kitchen. Sita is called Annapurna and the goddess of food, it has been built keeping this mindset in mind. One part of the temple has idols of Lord Rama and his brothers and their wives. You get to see idols of Ram-Sita, Laxman-Urmila, Bharat-Mandavi, and Shatrughan-Shrutakirti with their couples here.

Gupta Ghat
Situated on the banks of river Saryu, also known as Ghaggar, Guptar Ghat is an iconic site in Faizabad near Ayodhya. With steps leading to the holy river, this ghat was once a neighbor of the colonial Company Gardens, now known as Gupta Ghat Forest. Lord Rama meditated at this place and took 'Jal Samadhi' in the river. After which, he attained 'Baikuntha' and descended to heaven as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Ramkatha Park
