Ramshila Hill
Ramshila Hill is one of the top hill stations of Bihar. It is situated at a distance of just 5 km from the Vishnupad temples of Gaya. One can easily reach here after trekking. People from nearby areas come here every weekend to have fun. Mention of this place can be seen even in the Ramayana period. It is believed that Lord Rama had buried his father Dasharatha at this very place. Due to this many devotees also come here to offer Pind Daan. The time between October to February is best to visit Ramshila Hill.

Brahmajuni Hill
Brahmajuni Hill is a hilly place surrounded by historical temples, Brahmajuni Hill leaves no stone unturned in offering you beautiful views of lush green meadows and Vishnupad Temple. Brahmajuni Hill located in the Gaya district of Bihar is situated 1 km south-west of Vishnupad temple. Here on the Brahmajuni hills, you can see some historical caves, where the attractive carvings carved on the stone walls are worth seeing. It is said that this is the place where Buddha gave his fire instructions to 1000 priests. Vishnupad Temple is said to be built on the footprints of Lord Vishnu making it a top tourist destination in Bihar.

Pragbodhi Hill Station
Pragbodhi Hill Station is situated in Gaya, very near Kiriyama village. Pragbodhi Hill Station is also called Dhungeshwar. This place is also considered another name for the attainment of knowledge. It is said that Lord Buddha himself stayed here sometime before he attained enlightenment. It was in a cave here that he meditated on truth. One of the most famous places here is a temple run by Tibetan monks, where you should come for meditation. Along with this, as you reach the top of the hill, you also see many stupas, where a replica of Lord Buddha can be seen.

Haunted hill
Pretshaali Hill is located 11 km from Gaya and about 10 km from Ramshila Hill. Below this beautiful hill is the Brahma Kund lake, where pilgrims take a bath and offer Pinda Daan, a ritual performed to appease the departed souls of ancestors and parents. There is a temple on the top of this hill, Ahilya Bai Temple, which gets a lot of respect from the people due to its architecture and beauty. After reaching here, you will hardly be able to assess the peace that you get after the fatigue.

Gurpa Hill
Gurpa Peak, situated near Gurpa Nam village of Gaya, is called Kukutpadgiri by the local people. Gurpa Peak is considered a sacred mountain peak. This place is best to find peace. Gurpa Peak is surrounded by beautiful Hindu temples and Buddhist ruins. Also, this place has its historical importance. There is an interesting story about this place, which you should know. Maha Kashyap, the successor of Lord Buddha, was towards the end of his life, at that time he was trying to climb this hill. In one of these, his foot got stuck between some rocks, but then the rocks themselves separated and made way for him. He reached up and meditated. While he was meditating, the rocks closed around him.
