Alwar tourist places
The whole of Alwar can be seen in a day, but that doesn't mean that there isn't much to see in Alwar. Alwar is full of historical buildings. It is another matter that the government is not doing anything for the upliftment of these buildings. A living example of this is the City Palace building of the city. This whole building is occupied by government offices, just to say that a museum has been made on one of its floors, a legal battle is going on for the right over Vijay Mandir Palace. Because of this quarrel, it is closed, and Bala Fort is under the authority of the police. The condition of Fatehganj mausoleum is even worse, everything is in the hands of the guards, whether they want to let you roam, or refuse. The location of Alwar is not very convenient in terms of travel, but the beauty of Alwar inspires tourists to come here again and again. This is Gujjar Fort.

Fatehganj Dome
The tomb of Fatehganj has five stories and is of the highest order among all its contemporaries in Delhi. In terms of beauty, it is more beautiful than Humayun's tomb. It is situated on the east side across the railway line, near Bharatpur Road. This mausoleum is situated in the middle of a garden and it also houses a school. It usually opens before 9 am. After seeing this one can go to Moti Dungri by rickshaw. Moti Dungri was built in 1882. It remained the residence of the royal families of Alwar till 1928. Maharaja Jaisingh decided to demolish it and build a more beautiful building here. For this, he had ordered special goods from Europe, but unfortunately, the ship on which the goods were coming sank. When the ship sank, Maharaj Jaisingh left the intention of building this building. The advantage of not being built was that tourists can climb this hill freely and enjoy the beautiful view of the city.

Purjan Vihar
It is a beautiful garden, in the middle of which there is a large greenhouse called Shimla. Maharaj Shiodhan Singh got this garden built in 1868 and Maharaj Mangal Singh got Shimla built in 1885. There are many shady paths in this garden and many fountains are engaged. The following title Company Garden is the description of this.

Company Bagh
Company Garden is open twelve months of the year. The visiting hours in Shimla (Green House) are from 9 am to 5 pm. After seeing Company Bagh, you can go towards Church Road. There is St. Andrew's Church here but it is often closed. At the end of this road is Hope Circle, it is the busiest place in the city and there are frequent traffic jams here. There are many shops near it and there is a Shiva temple in the center above. Seven roads lead to various destinations from Hope Circle. One goes to Ghantaghar where Kalakand market is also there. A road leads from Tripolia Gate to the City Palace Complex. There are many small temples in Tripolia. On the way towards City Palace, Sarafa Bazar, and Bajaja Bazar come across. Both these markets are famous for their gold ornaments.

City Palace
The City Palace is a beautiful complex: there is a Krishna temple in a field behind the gate. Immediately behind it is the umbrella of Musi Rani and other places of interest. This palace was built in 1793 by Raja Bakhtawar Singh. Tourists cannot live without praising its beauty. The entire building is occupied by the government offices of the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police etc. By the way, there is also a museum divided into three halls on the top floor of this building, which is open from 10 am to 5 pm, Friday is a holiday. In the first hall, royal clothes and clay toys are kept, and in the second hall, there are pictures of many famous kings of Central Asia. Pictures from Timur to Aurangzeb are displayed in this hall.

Vijay Mandir Lake Palace
This beautiful palace was built in 1918. This was the residence of Maharaja Jai Singh. Its structure is completely different from the traditional buildings. There is also a Ram temple inside it. It is not fully visible from the front but a panoramic view of this palace can be seen from the lake behind it. After visiting the palace, the Bal Quila can be reached from the path along the lake. Autos charge Rs 200 to reach both these places. Due to a family feud, this palace is closed nowadays, tourists are not allowed to roam here.

Bala Quila, Alwar
The City Palace Complex is the pride of the eastern end of Alwar. Above it is the Aravalli hills, on which the Bala fort is built. The wall of Bala Fort is spread over the whole hill which passes through the lush green fields. This is the oldest building in the entire city of Alwar, which was built by the Nikumbh Rajputs in about 928 AD. Now this fort cannot be seen, because there is a wireless center of the police. It is well connected by road from Alwar Interstate Bus Stand. There are shady trees on both sides. Stone walls are visible on the way, which are very beautiful. The fort can be entered through Jaipol. It remains open from 6 am to 7 pm. The temple of Karni Mata is on its way and remains open till 9 pm on Tuesday and Saturday nights for the convenience of the devotees. To enter the fort then the permission of the Superintendent of Police was not required. Tourists only have to write their names in the register kept by the sentry. After this, he can roam around the fort. In case of emergency, you can call the Tourist Superintendent's office.

Jai Samand Lake
Green hills are not only in Alwar, there are many beautiful lakes and hills in its nearby areas. Monsoon is the best time to visit here. Jai Samand Lake is the closest to the city. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh of Alwar in 1910 for a picnic. He also built an island in the middle of this lake. The cane houses on the road along the lake offers a picturesque view. This is the most beautiful view of the lake. Jai Samand Road is very disturbing. Hence, take a taxi instead of an auto to visit Jai Samand, Silsaid, and Alwar. It will take you to Alwar from the interstate bus stand in 4-5 hours. For this, the taxi drivers take 500 rupees from the tourists. There is no arrangement to stay near the lake.

Silisedh Lake
Silised Lake is the most famous and beautiful lake in Alwar. It was built by Maharao Raja Vinay Singh in 1845. A tributary of the Ruparal River originates from this lake. In monsoon, the area of this lake increases to 10.5 sq km. The green hills around the lake and the white clouds in the sky present a picturesque view. This lake is also called Nandankanan of Rajasthan. The storage capacity of this lake is about 28 feet. Many tourists come here in the rainy season. Another lake Jaisamand is situated in the east direction of this lake.

Kundala
Kundala village is surrounded by mountains from all sides. The scene here remains very green. This place is also called Garba ji. This place is also famous for mountaineering. Different types of cadets come here for mountain climbing. There is also a spring here, in which people take a bath and feel blissful.

Jhilmildeh Lake Ajabgarh
On Dausa Alwar Via Ajabgarh Thanagaji road, this lake is situated just below Ajabgarh Dam (in the canal area) surrounded by Aravalli ranges from all sides. But at present, due to lack of rain, this lake is in trouble to save its existence. On one side of this lake is India's well-known five-star hotel Amanbagh, which is world-famous for inviting foreign tourists to the historical land of Ajabgarh Bhangarh. If the Ajabgarh dam is filled during the rainy season, then the scene here becomes like a mixture of both Mumbai and Shimla because the Ajabgarh dam shows a sea-like view, and the old Chhattris inside it is like an island, and on the upper end of the dam Ajabgarh's 27 Guvada (village) is situated in which the five-star hotel Amanbagh in the boundaries of Guvada Birkari is a unique place to enjoy nature's swatches.
