Golden Temple

According to an estimate, about 1 lakh people eat langar daily in the Golden Temple. This number doubles on festivals and weekends. Entry into the premises is not allowed without a turban or any cloth or cap on the head.
Jallianwala Bagh
The historic Jallianwala Bagh located near the famous Golden Temple of Amritsar is a public park. This Jallianwala Bagh is spread over 6.5 acres of land and is the witness of a tragic incident in India. During the British rule, thousands of children, elderly, youth, and women gathered at this place for the peaceful celebration of Baisakhi and were ordered to be fired upon indiscriminately as per the orders of General Dyer. Thousands of innocent people were killed in this incident. This massacre place was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 13 April 1961.

It was called 'Bhaij Da Qila' by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. General Dyer went to Jallianwala Bagh from this fort and played the bloody game on 13 April 1919. It is said that there is an underground tunnel near the bloody door of this fort, which goes to Lahore.
Durgiana Temple
Durgiana Temple is a major Hindu temple located in Amritsar, Punjab state. This Durgiana Temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Durga Temple, and Sheetla Temple. Temples of Mata Sita and Hanuman ji can also be seen in this temple complex. Along with the statue of Mata Lakshmi, statues of many other gods and goddesses can also be seen here. The history of this Durgiana Temple is said to be 16th century old. Due to the silver doors installed here, this temple is also known as Silver Temple.
