The best time to visit Sethan Village
The best time to visit the mountains is summer and autumn. In summer one can roam freely without worrying about the cold, whereas in autumn the beauty of this place is different. In this respect, October is perfect to explore Sethan, but yes, if you want to enjoy winter trekking, then plan between January to March. From June to October this place is great for hiking and camping. Sethan Hamta Pass is also the starting point of the trek.
How to reach?
By Air – If you are thinking of coming to Sethan by flight, then for this you will have to come to Kullu-Manali Airport located in Bhuntar. Taxis or buses are easily available from the airport to Manali and Sethan.
By Rail – The nearest railway station to reach here is Joginder Nagar Railway Station. The distance from here to Manali is 160 kilometers. You can easily get a bus or taxi from the railway station to go to Manali and Sethan village.
By Road- This village is situated just 12 kilometers away from Manali. Buses are easily available for Manali from cities like Delhi, and Chandigarh. After coming to Manali, you will have to take a taxi to reach here.
