National and international musicians also come here. Ziro Music Festival takes place for 4 consecutive days.

Many people come here for the Ziro Music Festival. There are many small hills throughout the valley. The entire valley will appear to you like a green carpet. There are also cedar forests here.

The inhabitants of this valley are the tribal Apatani people. These people still follow the tradition of getting tattoos on their faces. The life of people here depends on farming.

That's why you will get to see villages of hilly fields. People also go fishing here. Apart from visiting the villages of Ziro Valley, you can also visit places like Meghna Cave Temple, Fort Pakho, and ZiroPuto etc.

Make a plan to travel on low budget

If your budget is low and you do not have a long holiday then you can visit Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Ziro Valley is located about 15 km from Itanagar city.

  • To reach Ziro Valley by air, you have to land at Tezpur Airport. The road from Tezpur to Ziro is approximately 266 km. The flight from Delhi to here is quite expensive, for this, you may have to pay Rs 9000 to 10 thousand.
  • Therefore, if you are planning a trip on a low budget, then you should plan this trip via train.
  • The nearest railway station to Ziro Valley is Naharlagun. Then you can reach Ziro from Guwahati by road. It is situated at a distance of approximately 470 kilometres. For this you will have to pay Rs 1500 to 2000 for a ticket.
  • Apart from this, if you go from Delhi via National Highway then it will take you 45 hours to cover the distance of 2,269.0 km.
  • You will easily find hotels here between Rs 1500 to Rs 2000.
