The 32nd Taj Mahotsav has started. This festival has started from 17th February and is going to continue till 27th February. This time the theme of Taj Mahotsav has been kept “Culture and Prosperity”.
Taj Mahotsav is a cultural program, in which you will get a chance to enjoy many things like Bollywood Night, KaviSammelan, Natya Mahotsav, Hot Air Balloon Ride, Taj Car Rally, Bhajan, Ghazal and Comedy. The festival started on 17th February with a powerful performance by famous singer Javed Ali. The enthusiasm of the public after listening to his songs one after the other was truly palpable.
Apart from this, from 17th February to 27th February, about 400 artisans will showcase their fascinating things like woodwork and stone carving in this festival.
Where is the Taj Mahotsav being organized?
The festival is organized at Shilpgram near the East Gate of the Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh from 17 to 27 February.
Taj Mahotsav Entry Ticket Price
The entry fee for adults is Rs 50 per person. Children up to 3 years will not have to pay any fees. Apart from this, if 50 students come in school uniform, they will have to pay a total of Rs 700. The entry fee is waived for 2 teachers accompanying children.
What will be special in Taj Mahotsav?
Arts and Crafts – More than 400 renowned artisans from different parts of the country will showcase their craftsmanship at the festival. In this, you will get a chance to see wood and stone carvings, and bamboo and paper mache items from Kashmir.
Cultural programs- Big artists will come to perform at the festival. Apart from arts and crafts, there will be a chance to see classical folk music and dance.
Tasty Food Stall and Fair – Here tourists will get a chance to know and eat traditional food items.
