There is a different pleasure in sailing here. You won't find sailing like this fun anywhere else. Those who have not visited Meghalaya till now must visit this beautiful place once.
Where is Dawki located?
This river is situated 100 km away from Shillong in the state of Meghalaya. It is also known as the Umngot River. This river flows through a small town Dawki. The colour of this river is green, due to which it looks more beautiful.
If you go boating in this, you will feel as if the boat is moving in the air and not in the water. People watching from a distance will also have a similar feeling. Actually, this is because the water is so clear that the layer of water below the boat is not easily visible.
