Meera Temple
When you visit Chittorgarh Fort, you must also visit Meera Temple nearby. This is proof of Meera's true love and devotion towards Lord Krishna. It is considered one of the most important temples of Rajasthan. The attraction of the idols of Lord Vishnu and other Gods and Goddesses makes this temple the most beautiful place to visit in Chittorgarh. Meera used to spend hours and days expressing her devotion through bhajans. Even today people gather here and sing hymns of Lord Krishna.
Kalika Mata Temple
Kalika Mata Temple, located at a short distance from the premises of Chittorgarh Fort, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kalika, who is the family deity of the Mori Panwar clan of Kshatriya Rajputs. An example of excellent architecture with intricate carvings and sculptures can be seen in the temple. It is considered one of the most sacred religious places in Rajasthan. This temple was initially dedicated to the Sun God and was built by BappaRawal. Later, the statue of Maa Kali was installed by MaharanaHamir and since then the temple has been named Kalika Mata Temple.
Fateh Prakash Palace
Fateh Prakash Palace, located near the Chittorgarh Fort complex, is a heritage hotel that offers a glimpse of the royal heritage of Rajasthan. This palace was named after MaharanaFateh Singh. There is an idol of Lord Ganesha in this palace which looks divine. You will be surprised to see the excellent wall paintings, murals sculptures etc. in the palace museum.
