Pendle Hill is a place in Lancashire, England, which is haunted by the restless spirits of people who were convicted of witchcraft and killed many people.
On 17 August 1612, 10 women were hanged together. While 2 people were sentenced.
These women started killing the people living there and hiding their dead bodies. When the Paranormal Society investigated this, it was found that these women used witchcraft to kill people.
Even today people are afraid of visiting this place because people believe that the effect of 400 years old magic is still felt on this hill. Many movies and serials have been made here.
How to reach?
The Hill is in East Lancashire, England, near the towns of Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Briar Field, Clitheroe and Padiham. Its elevation is 557 meters (1,827 ft) above sea level.
It gives its name to the Borough of Pendle. There is a very steep climb to the Big End of Pendle. It may take you two and a half hours to complete the journey. This place is considered the horror place of England.
