Janaki Temple
Janak was the king of Mithila during the Ramayana period. The name of his capital is Janakpur. Janakpur is a famous religious place in Nepal. It is situated 400 km southeast of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. This city is famous as the in-law's house of Lord Rama. Mother Sita had spent her childhood in this city only. It is said that he got married here too. People often visit this temple on the occasion of Vivah Panchami. It is said that Lord Rama broke the bow of Shiva at this place. A stone piece present here is said to be the remains of the same bow. There is a marriage mandap named Dhanusha, in which Ram-Janaki is married with full rituals on the day of Vivah Panchami.
Muktinath Temple
Muktinath Temple, one of the most famous temples of Nepal, has become a center of faith for the people of Vaishnavism, in which the Shaligram God is worshipped. Due to the location of this temple in the Muktinath region of Nepal, this entire region is known as Mukti Kshetra. Pashupatinath Temple
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal, situated on the banks of the beautiful and sacred Bagmati River, 3 km east of the city of Kathmandu. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is visited by thousands of devotees daily. Pashupatinath Temple is spread over a large area with ashrams, which gives a different peace to the tourists and pilgrims coming here. In the year 1979, Pashupatinath Temple was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is said about this temple that the Jyotirlinga body established in this temple is the head which is made up of twelve Jyotirlingas of India. There was a severe earthquake in Nepal in the year 2015, due to which some outer buildings of this temple were demolished but the sanctum sanctorum of this temple is still safe.
Manakamana Temple
Mankamna Mata Temple is located about 105 km from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. There is a story behind this temple that years ago a farmer accidentally hit a stone and suddenly blood and milk started coming out of that stone. That's why people got the temple of Mata built here. The people here consider the stone as an incarnation of the goddess. People say that the vows asked here with true devotion get fulfilled. There is a huge crowd of devotees in this temple during Dussehra Puja. There is also a tradition of offering sacrifices here during Ashtami Puja.
Swayambhunath Stupa
Swayambhunath is an ancient Buddhist stupa situated on a hill to the west of Kathmandu city. Swayambhunath occupies a central place in the daily life of the Newari people, followers of Buddhism. This place is the most sacred Buddhist place for them. For the Tibetan people and the followers of Tibetan Buddhism, it is the only place after Boudhanth. Swayambhu included in the heritage is one of the grandest Buddhist sites in the world. It is related to the construction of the Kathmandu Valley. 77m from the valley, three kilometers west of Kathmandu. It is situated at the height of Swayambhu. The eyes made around it are believed to be of Gautam Buddha, who is looking in all four directions.
Changunarayan Temple
This temple, located in Changu village of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, was built in 325 AD. Built during the 4th century, this temple is known to be one of the oldest temples of Lord Vishnu. The architecture of this temple is based on the Nepali style. Due to its historical importance and grand style, this temple has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rudraksha trees are also planted inside this temple.
Mahadevi Shaktipeeth
This Shaktipeeth is considered at 3 places. First Ugratara Temple, Saharsa Bihar, second Jayamangala Devi Temple Samastipur, Bihar and third Vandurga Temple Janakpur Nepal. Budhanilkanth Temple
This temple situated in the foothills of a hill named Shivpuri of Nepal is only 9 km from the city of Kathmandu. Is located at a distance. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. People say that this temple was established for the royal family here. The mythological belief told about this temple is that Vishnu ji fulfills every wish of the devotees who go to this temple and have the darshan of Lord Vishnu. The idol of Lord Vishnu sitting in this temple is sitting on top of the kund in a sleeping state, which makes this temple very different from other temples.
