You must be aware by now of the Lotus Temple of Delhi, which is made of marble. But there are very few people who know about this unique temple. This temple seen in the picture is located in Telangana, India.

Its beauty is the same as you feel after seeing this Lotus Temple of Delhi. But the special thing about this temple is that the temple is built on a lotus.

The large lotus flower on which the temple is built is truly a wonderful work of art. Because it is built on a lotus flower, this temple is called Lotus Temple.

Where is this unique temple located?

This Lotus Temple is located at Himayath Nagar Square, MoinabadMandal, Rangareddy District, and Telangana. To reach the temple you can take the Chilkur route.

There is also Sri Swami Narayan International Gurukul next to this temple. This Gurukulam itself is maintaining this temple. This GurukulamSchool is next to the temple.

Lord Shiva is worshipped

Here Lord Shiva is seen in the linga form. The Shivalinga here is also very special. Rudraksha, Trinetra and Nabhi are naturally visible on this Linga. Seeing this you will feel as if you are seeing God in front of you.

It is said that by the grace of Lord Shiva, this Shivalinga was found by a devotee named Purushottam Bhai on the banks of river Narmada. There will be darshan of various deities like Hanuman, Lakshmi NarasimhaSwamy, Radha Krishna, VenkateswaraSwamy all around the temple.

Abhishek is done by devotees and not by Pandits.

Puja takes place here from 8 am. The first consecration of the Lord is done by the hands of the devotees who come first. It is free of cost. After this, Rs 201 is charged for Abhishek.

You will see two big urns on both sides of the temple. You might have never seen such a big vessel in your life.

There is also a Yagyashala and Gaushala on the premises of this temple, along with a food court has also been arranged by the Gurukulam in the temple premises. There is also a park for small children to play next to the food court.

Its entry fee is Rs 10. Here you can have darshan from 8 am to 10 pm.

How to reach?

There are many buses from Mehdipatnam and Secunderabad to reach this temple. If you are going from Delhi, you will also get a direct train to Secunderabad. Those who want to go to Chilkur can visit this temple after going to Chilkur.

ChilkurBalaji is known as Visa wale Balaji. It is said that people get jobs just by seeing Baba. This temple is 3 km from ChilkurBalaji Temple and 18 km from Mehdipatnam.
