The year 2024 is just around the corner and many people are planning to celebrate the New Year at some special place. However, you don't have to worry about making these plans on your own as the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has prepared a special tour package for you.
IRCTC offers 7-day tour packages that include all arrangements for your accommodation, meals, and sightseeing.
This package starts from Lucknow and includes travel to Bengaluru, Mysore, and Ooty. You will get the opportunity to enjoy this travel plan during the Republic Day holidays from January 24, 2024, to January 30, 2024. You will fly from Lucknow to Bangalore via Indigo Airlines.
Complete trip plan
Day 1: You will be driven from Lucknow to Bangalore via the airport. On the first day after reaching Bangalore, you will visit Mysore and Vrindavan Gardens. Afterwards, you will check in to a hotel. After dinner here, you will stay overnight in Mysore only.
Day 2: After breakfast, you will proceed to Chamunda Temple. After that, you will visit Mysore Palace and then depart for Coorg. In the evening you will go to Raja's Seat, from where a beautiful view of the evening is visible. After dinner, you will stay overnight at a hotel in Coorg.
Day 3: In Coorg, after breakfast, you will visit the elephant camp. Then, you will be taken to Kaushal Nagar Monastery, Abbey Waterfall, and a coffee plantation. After dinner, you will stay at a hotel in Coorg for the night.

Day 4: After breakfast, you will depart for Ooty. Here you will visit the hill station and shooting point. After lunch, you will visit Bandipur National Park, where you can see various wild animals like elephants, foxes, and deer in their natural habitat. After dinner, you will stay at a hotel in Ooty for the night.
Day 5: On this day you will explore Ooty. Here you will find different types of species and 55 acres of government botanical garden, and in the evening you will also visit a tea factory. You will enjoy a boat ride on the lake. After dinner, you will stay overnight at a hotel in Ooty.
Day 6: On this day you will visit Bangalore Palace. After dinner, you will stay at a hotel in Bangalore for the night.

Day 7: After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel. Then, you will be dropped at Bangalore Airport, from where you can board a flight to Lucknow. If you get time on the last day of the journey, you can also visit the ISKCON temple.
