International Women's Day is celebrated every year on 8 March. The first official International Women's Day was celebrated in the year 1975. If you are going to see the TajMahal, now you do not need to spend Rs 200. Every person has to pay Rs 50 for entry into the TajMahal. If you want to see the main tomb of the TajMahal from inside and from above, then for this you have to pay Rs 200 separately. But now women will not have to pay fees to watch it.
Women do not have to pay entry fees in Red Fort
The entry fee for Red Fort is Rs 60 per person from Monday to Friday. Apart from this, a charge of Rs 80 is taken on Saturday and Sunday. But on International Women's Day, entry fees are not charged to women.
You will not have to pay an entry fee to see QutubMinar
The entry fee for Indians at QutubMinar is Rs 35 to 40 per person. Apart from this, Rs 500 is charged to foreigners. But on International Women's Day, entry into QutubMinar is made free for all women.
Similarly, there are many such monuments, where women will not have to pay entry fees on International Women's Day.
