Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2023: Meghalaya is all set to host the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival this year. This is one of the biggest festivals here. The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival will be organized from 17 to 19 November. The craze of this festival is such that people not only from the country but also from abroad come to see it. The event will be held at Madan Kurklang, RBDSA Sports Complex in Ri Bhoi district. This festival is also known as International Cherry Blossom Festival. Along with seeing the spectacular view of cherry blossoms, you can also enjoy music, art, and culture by coming here.
The streets and lanes of Shillong are strewn with pink and white cherry blossom flowers at this time. Generally, this flower is found in East and West Khasi Hills. Himalayan cherry blossoms add to the beauty of Shillong during the winter season. Seeing the view here, it feels as if you are traveling somewhere abroad.
What will be special this time in Cherry Blossom Festival?
Music, fashion shows, beauty shows, martial arts, disco, Japanese cosplay, and golf tournaments will be organized in this year's Cherry Blossom Festival. Every program is very wonderful. More than one lakh tourists expected

Many big stars in the entertainment field are going to perform at this year's festival. Meghalaya Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh said, "Around 30,000 tourists will come daily. More than one lakh tourists are expected during the entire event."
