The Indian cricket team may have definitely lost in the first t20 match played against the West Indies but debutant Tilak Verma impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in this match. After the kind of batting this left-handed batsman did, he is being praised all around. Not only did he get congratulations from his teammates and former Indian cricketers after the match, but his brilliant performance echoed in South Africa as well, which earned him congratulations from South Africa as well. A South African friend of Tilak Verma has praised him fiercely. This friend of Tilak has been playing with Mumbai Indians in IPL for the last 2 seasons and their friendship is also very deep and the name of this friend is Dewald Brewis.

Tilak Verma's debut match was brilliant, he hit two brilliant sixes in the second and third ball of his international career. He was batting brilliantly and it seemed that Devi would score a half-century in the match as well but he was caught by Shimron Hetmyer off Romario Shepherd. During this, he played an innings of 39 runs in which, facing 22 balls, he hit two fours and three sixes.

Let us tell you that BCCI shared a video on its social media in which he narrated a recorded message which was sent to him by his friend Brewis. Brewis of South Africa congratulated Tilak on his debut. Tilak was surprised to see this message from Brewis and looked very happy. Brewis congratulated Tilak Verma on behalf of himself and his family. He said that when he hit a four off the second and third balls, his hair stood on end. Along with this, he said that his support will always be with Tilak.

Tilak Verma became very happy after seeing this message from Brewis and said that it was a wonderful surprise for him. Tilak said that he felt that there would be a message from his family or coach, but this message turned out to be from his friend Brewis. After which Tilak called Brewis his brother and thanked him.
