The record of taking 10 wickets in an innings in Test cricket is recorded in the name of Anil Kumble and another bowler. Whenever a team comes out to play a match on the field, only 11 players play and if a bowler dismisses all the players of a team, then he is able to take the wickets of only 10 batsmen, while one batsman remains not out. But there is also a bowler in the world who took the wickets of all the players of the opposition team in a test series.

That player is none other than the legendary off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin who dismissed all the players of the opposition team in a test series. Ravichandran Ashwin did this feat in the 2013 series against Australia. In that series, Ashwin had dismissed 16 Australian batsmen. The first Test match of the series was played in Chennai, in which Ashwin took 12 wickets in both innings.

In this series, 17 players played for Australia. But only 16 players played the series. Those 16 players are Michael Clarke (c), Shane Watson (VC), Jackson Bird, Ed Cowan, Xavier Doherty, Moises Henriques, Philip Hughes, Mitchell Johnson, Usman Khawaja, Nathan Lyon, Glenn Maxwell, James Pattinson, Peter Siddle, Steve Smith, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, David Warner. Ravichandran Ashwin had made many records in this series. He took 29 wickets in total in the series, out of which he dismissed some batsmen 2 or more times.
