Giving his health update for the first time, Rishabh Pant said that he is recovering fast and is ready for the challenges ahead. Pant wrote in his Instagram post, "I am humbled and grateful for everyone's support and wishes. Just want to let everyone know that my surgery has been successful... Grateful that I am on the road to recovery." Rishabh Pant has shared a note on Instagram, in which he has told about his health and surgery. Also, he thanked everyone for their support.

I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for your support and positive energy during this difficult time. Let us tell you that Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant had become a victim of an accident in the past. After which Rishabh Pant was admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Later, he was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for better treatment. Rishabh Pant has specially thanked the two people who immediately took him to the hospital after the accident.
